Good Karma I hope.

This has been a rough weekend. Just a couple days of stupid loads and issues with weekend FM’s. Guess it will happen eventually and just a little frustrating. Now we are sitting in North Carolina at a trailer repair place since our loaded trailer from Walmart had no current inspections. Just kills me that someone dropped this without an inspection. Goody two shoes that I am, I get it fixed. I just don’t want to run the risk of getting pulled in for a DOT inspection knowing my trailer isn’t legal. It definitely tries your patience but then again I know there are drivers out there just like us that take care of these things. The funniest part of this is the trailer place has chickens running around everywhere. There are some pretty cool looking chickens and it is making me smile. Hello North Carolina. Got to find the funny in that. Luckily Craig went to sleep because he is not a happy camper. One aspect of this job that really annoys us. Please take care of the things you can. It makes it so much easier for all those that follow. If we all do our part it will make life so much easier. I hope everyone is having an awesome day and by the way. My Redskins are 2-0! Life is really good!!

  1. The ‘leave it for the next guy’ attitude I think is at all of the companies… Good on you guys for not falling for that trap!!

Hi Girl; You happen to be in a buisiness, always on the move, where “stuff” happens just about every moment. Some of it’s good. Think of the chickens and have one for dinner. Take care and be safe. I love you. Dad Leonard

  3. So sorry to hear you had to go through this. You are so right about getting things taken care of when they need to be taken care of. It is the right thing to do all around. Ron and I passed a USX truck today and as we always do when one goes by, we say…”I wonder if that is Anne and Craig?” Sure do hope tomorrow is a better day. Enjoy the joy that every chicken can bring! : D There are a lot of chickens out there. Keep up the wonderful attitude… you are doing things JUST RIGHT.

I hope we run into each other. How are things going with you?

Hey Anne, Was just going back and reading over old posts. Guess I missed this one.
My goof of a husband keeps saying “There goes your buddies!” That’s any red truck he sees. LOL. The last week has been great! Our last load was from Vernon CA to Secaucus NJ. Quite a nice run. Hope you are all healed from your recent lapse of “3 points of contact” I think of you every time I go to get in or out of the truck with my coffee cups. : ) Have a great weekend. Rhonda
