6 years ago yesterday I met Craig on a lunch date. It was a very, very long lunch date. We started at lunch which turned into dinner which turned into playing pool and ended after midnight. It’s pretty amazing to think that 6 years ago today my life had changed forever. That one day can make such a difference. It was my last first date as I like to say.

We have gone through ups and downs. Job and no job. Had money and been broke. Laughed, cried, screamed, dreamed and just had a freaking ball most of the time. We truly are best friends and I can’t imagine my life without him in it. He is my rock. I never doubt that he is there for me and always has my back. I realize what an incredible gift that is. To know that he will always be there for me. Anyone that has spent any time with us knows we love to banter. You might call it bicker but we don’t. Boy do we argue. We constantly get in discussions lol. I am quick to let things go which can drive him crazy. He’s not done being mad at me but I make him laugh about something and he has to let it go. Or visa versa. We balance each other which I think is super important. Especially in our profession. One of us is always calm when the other is aggravated. Super helpful when you live in a small space.  We are blessed with an awesome family and have the bestest of friends. We have amazing children and grandchildren!!!

Bottom line is I am grateful beyond belief that I get to spend my life with this man. Looking forward to all the years ahead of us.
